MANAL GEORGES

Ms. Georges is a Senior Associate in our San Jose, Salinas and San Luis Obispo office. Since her admittance to the bar in 2013, Ms. Georges’ practice has focused exclusively on Workers’ Compensation defense, primarily in the Bay Area. She has successfully litigated and settled a variety of cases. Additionally, she has worked with a variety of employers, including self-insured public entities, small businesses, school districts, public transit agencies, and multi-national corporations. While each case presents its own unique challenges, Ms. Georges likes meeting those barriers head- on and taking an aggressive approach to get the best results for her clients. She enjoys working with her clients, getting to know them on a personal level, and obtaining the most cost-effective and beneficial resolution.

Ms. Georges is dedicated to her involvement in the Workers’ Compensation community. For 4 years, she served as the defense chair of the Santa Clara County Workers’ Compensation Attorney Association, developing a positive working relationship with the Presiding Judge, applicant’s attorneys, and QME doctors. She continues to serve as an adviser and treasurer for the Association.

Ms. Georges graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Venturing outside of California, she attended Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she served as associate editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy.

As a Bay Area native and avid football fan, Ms. Georges holds season tickets for both the San Francisco 49ers and California Golden Bears. She loves spending time with her many nieces and nephews and getting to be the “cool” aunt. Passionate about self-care, she enjoys attending Pilates reformer classes several times a week.
