Ms. Prince is a 10-year veteran of the workers’ compensation defense industry having practiced for three large statewide defense firms over the course of her career. Prior to that, she worked for a third-party administration company, processing claims and was also the Director of Physician Contracting. She is a Certified Specialist in the field of Workers’ Compensation.

As a dedicated workers’ compensation defense attorney, she has assisted clients with litigating all aspects of their cases (including Labor Code Section 132(a) discrimination claims and S&W claims) from inception to settlement or Trial. She has represented public entities, private insurers, California Insurance Guarantee Association and permissibly self-insured employers. She excels at litigation as well as legal appeal writing. Ms. Prince also enjoys providing education training to her clients to ensure that they remain apprised of new caselaw and statutory requirements, especially during these uncertain COVID times. She has also been asked to speak in the past at California Applicants’ Attorneys Association
to present the defense perspective on issues related to the duty to investigate claims.

Ms. Prince graduated from University California at San Diego, where she earned her degree in Human Development. She later received her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law where she was on the Dean’s list, was part of the Honors Lawyering Program, was the recipient of the Witkin and Cali Awards for Excellence and worked as a law clerk, writing and researching constitutional law issues in an international context for comparative analysis.

Outside of work, Ms. Prince loves to hike, having completed three hikes in the last two years above fourteen thousand feet and has 49 more peaks on her to-do list. She is working on expanding her outdoor activities to include mountain biking and some easy rock climbing. She is a lover of British comedy, small furry animals, music, dancing and yoga/pilates.
