MOHAMMAD MIKBEL

Mr. Mikbel, an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Sacramento office, represents employers and insurance carriers in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining Wintersteen | Casarez, Mr. Mikbel worked at a defense firm defending employers, third-party administrators and insurance companies handling cases involving complex issues. He is client orientated and will aggressively defend his client’s interests. As part of his approach, Mr. Mikbel is willing to take matter to trial when it is in best interests of his clients.

Mr. Mikbel received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law where he interned at the Homeless Advocacy Clinic representing unhoused clients in welfare and criminal proceedings. He received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. He is also a member of the Palestinian American Bar Association.

In his free time, Mr. Mikbel enjoys visiting new cities, exploring new trails, and trying out new local coffee shops. His favorite team is the Pittsburg Steelers. He is fluent in Arabic, proud of his heritage, and is family and community-oriented--striving to be a positive pillar to those around him.
