Ms. Kamin has been practicing workers’ compensation law since 2014 but has worked in the insurance industry since 2006. She has focused her practice exclusively on workers’ compensation defense and distinguishes herself from others with her aggressive, yet settlement focused, litigation style. The art of persuasive argument and public speaking are the aspects of legal practice that she enjoys most. Storytelling via legal writing is also a passion of hers.
Ms. Kamin spearheaded the development of a one-of-a-kind/ industry-leading, onboarding program. The innovative, multi-phase program facilitates the training and development of future generations of workers’ compensation attorneys. Beyond the initial onboarding, she provides ongoing support and moderates the mentorship and fireside chat programs, ensuring the continued success of new legal minds.
Ms. Kamin obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the Colleges of Law- Ventura Campus, while concurrently working full-time.
Outside of work, Ms. Kamin enjoys spending time with her husband, young children, and dogs, taking advantage of all that coastal Ventura County has to offer.
