Ms. Cunningham has worked in the Workers’ Compensation industry for 14 years and is a Certified Specialist in the field of Workers’ Compensation.

Prior to joining Wintersteen | Casarez, Ms. Cunningham worked as an Associate Attorney for a reputable workers’ compensation defense firm in the Los Angeles area. Ms. Cunningham handled a full caseload, representing insurance carriers, public entities, and permissibly self-insured employers in all aspects of Workers’ Compensation. Her areas of expertise include claims against public entities (i.e. School Districts and Counties), litigation of complex entertainment industry claims, and working side by side with third-party administrators.

Ms. Cunningham regularly attends educational conferences to keep updated on the ever-changing caselaw, statutory requirements and WCAB procedures. Ms. Cunningham prides herself in being efficient and paying attention to detail. She keeps an open line of communication with her clients and works diligently to secure the best possible outcome for all claims.

Ms. Cunningham holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business Management from BYU-Hawaii where she was offered a full educational scholarship to attend. Ms. Cunningham obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law where she earned a Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in the area of Contract Law.

Outside of work, Ms. Cunningham enjoys traveling, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family. She enjoys watching documentaries and sit-coms such as The Office and Everybody Loves Raymond.
