Mr. Hinds is a certified workers’ compensation specialist with over 19 years of experience.

Before joining Wintersteen | Casarez, Mr. Hinds worked in the Los Angeles area office of a highly reputable state-wide workers’ compensation defense firm. Prior to that, Mr. Hinds worked on the
workers’ compensation defense litigation team in the Los Angeles office of a 400-person national law firm.

Mr. Hinds handles all aspects of workers’ compensation litigation from inception to conclusion. He has years of experience conducting case management and discovery of complex workers’ compensation
matters. He works with clients to develop strategies to resolve claims in an efficient, cost-effective way. He also works with clients to aggressively prepare and litigate matters for Trial.

He has experience in meeting the needs of various clients. He has represented self-insured employers,
uninsured employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators. He also has experience handling cases for School Districts as well as County entities.

Mr. Hinds attended the University of Lynchburg where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University.

When not practicing law, Mr. Hinds enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and the family dog. He is a former college middle distance runner and to this day, he remains an avid runner.
