Ms. Boyland serves as the firm’s Managing Attorney for the Sacramento Area. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from prior Partner designations and management experience at state-wide workers’ compensation law firms. Ms. Boyland is excited to work with WC Law Corporation to change the landscape of the legal profession by promoting diversity.

In her 18th year of practice, Ms. Boyland is adept at all aspects of workers’ compensation defense and is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation law. She is both parts aggressive and fair-minded in her claims’ handling. She has handled every type of claim under the sun: seasonal workers, temporary workers and PEO’s, medical facilities, transportation companies, construction companies, retail companies, and public agencies. She excels specifically in quick and cost-effective resolution via settlement.

Ms. Boyland graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2004 and was on the Dean’s List in 2002. Her undergraduate degree in Political Science was also obtained at Mizzou where she maintained the Henry Reichhold Scholarship. She is a member of the California and Missouri Bar (inactive).

Ms. Boyland has served on the Executive Committee for the California Lawyers Association (CLA), Workers’ Compensation Section (formerly the State Bar sections) from 2016 to present; she is currently the Chair. She previously served on the Valley Industrial Claims Association (VICA) Board from 2008-2014 culminating in the President position. She enjoys giving back to the legal community and is especially interested in community outreach.

Ms. Boyland enjoys a full house of fur kids and has fostered miniature pinschers for many years. She loves quality time with friends and family as well as kayaking and anything near a body of water.
